Dehradun: With the pace of the corona case surging in Uttarakhand, the omicron crisis is also on the rise. The confirmation of corona virus among 85 students at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Gangarkot at Suyalbari in Nainital district has created a ruckus. The administration and health department have also come into action as 85 students were found infected simultaneously. At present, all the students have been isolated in the school itself. A total of 96 students have been diagnosed with corona symptoms so far. The report of the teacher posted at Government Primary School Saungaon in the locality has also been positive.
The same report of the principal of the school along with 11 students was also infected last Wednesday and Thursday, who have been isolated in different hostels. They are being looked after by a team of doctors. CHC Garampani corona sample in-charge Madan Giri Goswami said 85 students of the school have come infected with corona. 70 per cent of the school children suffer from fever, cough and nasal closure.
Other teachers posted at Government Primary School, Saungaon have also been infected with corona. The health department team has also come under fire due to the continuous increase in coronavirus in the area. The administration is also making people aware of using masks, sanitisers and social distances to check the growing virus in the area. Koshyakutauli SDM Rahul Sah says Navodaya School has been declared as a micro-maintenance zone.
