Dehradun:  Foreign delegates were welcomed with tilak and garlands when they reached at the Jollygrant Airport in Uttarakhand's Dehradun on Tuesday, to participate in the second G20 meeting to be held in the state's Narendranagar, on May 24 and 25.
At Jollygrant Airport, a customary greeting was planned for the visitors. Along with the women, the male guests also performed Cholia dance on traditional instruments while dancing wonderfully to songs and music from Uttarakhand.

On May 24 and 25, the massive event will take place at Narendranagar, in the Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.

All of the visitors appeared ecstatic and grateful for the kindness shown to them at the airport. All of them were then driven to Narendra Nagar, the location of the G-20 summit's main events.

The second G20 summit is being prepared for in Narendranagar, Uttarakhand, and organisers are working nonstop to make it a huge success.

Banshidhar Tiwari, vice president of the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA), observed the beautification projects being undertaken in the Muni Ki Reti and Laxman Jhula region on Saturday and provided the appropriate directions. The G-20 has made the necessary preparations to allow foreign delegates to see Uttarakhand's culture.

According to officials, the ornamentation of the railings and other features would enhance the attractiveness even as the imposing figure of Bajrang Bali on Janaki Setu draws in visitors. The local Ganga Ghats have also been embellished.

In preparation for the Summit, security has been stepped up in the region, and preparations have been made in every way. For the benefit of both foreign and Indian delegates, the culture of Uttarakhand has been engraved on the walls alongside the highways. The murals also show Uttarakhand's way of life and musical instruments. Along with contemporary fare, the attendees will also be offered delicacies from Uttarakhand's traditional cuisine.
