A child died after coming under a car. The incident is from Thapla village near Khurpatal. The child belonged to the village head Neema Negi, resident of Thapla. According to the information, about one and a half-year-old child was playing inside the house. The child came under a car. The child collided with the pickup and became unconscious after getting hurt. Family members brought the child to BD Pandey Hospital in a hurry where doctors declared the child dead. In the hospital, parents cried bitterly for their only child.

In another incident, Three persons died after falling into a ditch operating on a motorway under construction of Bhrigukhal Nisni, Yamakeshwar. While the condition of one of the six injured is critical, today at around 05 am, the dumper suddenly fell into the ditch. The villagers, including the labourers, were also aboard the dumper. When the dumper was going to get the stone for the road construction, then it fell into the ditch.

Three persons Santosh Kumar (45), son of Anand Singh Village Nisni, Vishal resident of Gwalior and Ramesh Thapliyal, aged 62 years died after falling into the ditch. While the condition of one of the six other injured remains critical, Sate Singh (45 years) resident Kirtikhal (Dwarikhal), Nitin Joshi 20 years son Chandramohan Joshi resident Kotdwar, Yogesh 22 years resident Nimbu Chaur Kotdwar, Ritesh 27 years son Parashuram, Mukesh 13-year-old son Lalsingh is injured.
