The youth of Kumaon are working hard to become Agniveer and serve the country. But, here an attempt is being made to throw dust in the eyes of the army as well. In fact, a young man named Tahir from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh had come here to become Agniveer after getting a fake permanent, caste, residence certificate and Aadhar card.
But, the registration number entered in the admit card received by Tahir Khan was found registered in the name of some other youth. This made the army officers suspicious and they investigated it, then Tahir's documents were found to be fake, after which he was handed over to the Ranikhet police. Actually, the name Amit was written on the admit card shown by Tahir. During the recruitment in Somnath Ground Ranikhet, when a youth reached with his documents, the Military Intelligence, Military Police and Recruitment Office got suspicious about him. On this, during the joint action of the army officers, the documents of the youth were examined, then his documents turned out to be fake. After this, the police were informed.
When the investigation was done by Ranikhet police on the spot, it was found that a youth whose name is Tahir Khan son of Ahsan Khan resident of Alipura police station Kakod tehsil Secunderabad district Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), had given his fake permanent residence, caste residence certificate, Aadhar card was made from Haldwani in district Nainital. The registration number entered in the admit card issued to Tahir Khan is registered in the name of another person. In this case, on the basis of the complaint of the ARO Recruitment Board, necessary action has been taken by arresting Tahir Khan and registering a case under section 420 IPC in Kotwali Ranikhet.
Ranikhet CO Tilak Ram Verma said that recruitment is going on in Ranikhet under the Agnipath scheme, we got the news that a youth has been registered under another name, so we sent a police team to the spot and came to know that the boy who Tahir, his registration has been done under some Amit name. CO Tilak Ram Verma told that this boy is a resident of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, but the documents he has made are from Haldwani, Railway market, which is issued by SDM Haldwani and which is his high school certificate. It is made of Gadarpur, on this basis its documents have been found to be fake. Let us tell you that till now cases of exploiting girls by giving false names were coming to the fore, but this is the first case of trying to join the army on the basis of fake identity. However, what was Tahir Khan's motive behind joining the army on the basis of mistaken identity is not yet known, but it is clearly a case of cheating the army and the country.
