Dehradun: In view of the terror of criminals in the state, now the police has also come into resentment. SSP Dalip Singh Kunwar has given an open warning to 45 criminals who are absconding in the district, has moved a step towards crime-free Udham Singh Nagar. All absconding miscreants have been given 15 days to surrender. He said that 114 miscreants in Udham Singh Nagar are running after various crimes.

All the police in-charge and outpost in-charge have been given a week's time to take the wanted miscreants into custody. Explaining further, he has said that if the arrest of the miscreants is not done within the stipulated time period, strict action will be implemented against the police station and the in-charge. He said that 45 rewarded miscreants are yet to be arrested in the city. After giving 15 days' time to the miscreants, surrender either in the police station, the post, the concerned jurisdictional office either personally or through a lawyer.

After 15 days, the police will go on a rampage to take the miscreants into custody. Police will not suspect even an encounter due to arrest. He has said that the crook will be responsible for any loss. SSP has increased the hardness more to prevent COVID-19 infection spreading rapidly in Rudrapur city. He told that positive cases are coming out without showing any symptoms. Therefore externally identifying COVID-19 infectives has become a very challenging task and now it will be strictly monitored by the police.
