Dehradun: A vehicle fell into a river in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand. Two persons died on the spot in the accident. According to reports, a dumper fell into the Jalkur river near the bridge on Bijpur Paniyala Mater Road in the district in the early hours of Friday. In which the 2 persons on board have died on the spot. Police reached the spot as soon as they received the information. A rescue operation was launched to remove the bodies from the River. It is being said that the two riders in the dumper are residents of Kandiyal village in Pratapnagar Patti, Upali Ramelli. The names of the deceased are being told as driver Jairaj Singh son Kunwar Singh (28 years) and Santosh Singh son Vijender Singh (35 years), both are residents of Kandiyal village.

On the other hand, a truck hit the bike on Haridwar bypass in Dehradun. The bike rider died in the accident. Police have seized the truck and parked it at the outpost. After the post-mortem of the person, it will be handed over to the family members. Nehru Colony police station in charge Satbir Singh Bisht said that on Thursday, news of a person being injured in a truck collision was received. Police reached the spot and got the man admitted to Kanishk Hospital. Where the person died during treatment.

Also, Bisht told that the person used to work in a private pathology lab here. His family members have been informed. The persons standing on the spot have told the police that the man had become uncontrollable on the U-turn in front of the Mahindra car showroom. Due to this, the truck coming from the front hit his bike.
