In most areas of the state, it is getting very cold. In the next few days, it may increase further. According to the Meteorological Department, there has been a lot of rain and snowfall in the state. Rainfall and snowfall may occur in some areas of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh by January 16, 2020. Snowfall is expected to fall in all areas with a height of more than 3000 meters. Heavy rains and hailstorms are expected at Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar.
