New Delhi: In a boost to the corona vaccination campaign, children in the age group of 15-18 years have started vaccination in India from January 3. More than 150.61 crore vaccine supplements have been administered across the country so far. More than 9 million people got vaccinated during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, more than 20 million children in the age group of 15 to 18 years have been given the first dose of the vaccine.
The third wave of the corona epidemic in India has picked up pace and infection cases are also on the rise. In the last 24 hours, 1.41 lakh new cases of coronavirus have been registered from all over the country. After which the panic of the corona has once again increased. In such a situation, a lot of emphases is being laid on the corona vaccination campaign and millions of people are being vaccinated daily.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 2,023,4,580 children in the age group of 15-18 years have been given the first dose of the corona vaccine. The total immunization figure in India has now reached 1,50,61,92,903. In 37 states and Union Territories, 51,16,40,381 people in the age group of 18-44 years have taken their first dose and a total of 34,83,30,801 people have also administered their second dose. On the other hand, 10,38,8,771 healthcare workers have been given the first dose and 97,36,651 workers have been given the second dose.
