Lucknow: Varanasi located in Uttar Pradesh is going to get another gift. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off the new Vande Bharat train on Monday i.e. 18th December. Varanasi Cantt Railway Station Director Gaurav Dixit has said that 'PM Modi will flag off the new Vande Bharat train on December 18. The regular timing of this train has not been announced yet, an official notification in this regard is expected in a day or two.' This Vande Bharat is going to run between Varanasi and New Delhi. However, its schedule has not been announced yet. Earlier, a railway official had said in this context that the demand for another Vande Bharat from Varanasi to Delhi was very high.
According to media reports, the Railway official had said that the demand is very high, hence the second Vande Bharat is being started. According to media reports, the official has said that 'the first Vande Bharat train which started on the Delhi-Varanasi route. This train is running with more than 100% occupancy. This means that more than one person books tickets for different stops on this route. Giving an example, the officer said that if a passenger traveling from Delhi disembarks in Kanpur, then another passenger traveling to Allahabad or Varanasi is traveling again in the same seat.
Let us tell you that in this regard the officer has said that the second train is going to run at a different time from the first train. At present, the existing 22436 Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi to Varanasi departs from New Delhi Railway Station at 6 am and reaches Varanasi at 2 pm. It is also being said that the second Vande Bharat train to Varanasi is going to start its journey from New Delhi in the afternoon. Let us tell you that the current Vande Bharat train runs on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and covers a distance of 769 kilometers in eight hours. Not only this, the officer has said that, 'The time table of the second train is being prepared keeping this in mind.'
