Let us tell you that Varsha Usgaonkar is celebrating her birthday today. Yes, Varsha Usgaonkar was born on this day i.e. February 28, 1968.

In the controversial Hindi feature film, Jigyaasa, directed by Faisal Saif, she played Harshita Bhatt's mother. Usgaonkar started her television career in 1988 in the role of Uttara, Abhimanyu's wife and Parikshit's mother (the future of the Bharat Dynasty TV serial Mahabharata). The role gave her many Hindi film offers and most of them did not succeed at the box office. She played the role of Rupamati (Snake Queen) in the 1994 TV serial Chandrakanta. She has appeared in Akash Zep and Ika Meekanshi's Marathi show and has starred in Hindi television serials Alvida Darling, and Tanha.

Her most prominent performance was in the TV serial Jhansi Ki Rani on Doordarshan in the 1990s, in which she played the lead role of Rani Lakshmibai. Ushgaonkar sang with Ulhas Buaon in the Konkani music album Roop Tujem Laita Pixem. She currently plays the supporting role of Nandini Yashwant Shirke-Patil in the popular show Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta on the Marathi channel Star Pravah.
