'Eligible before election, ineligible after election', Varun Gandhi hits out at BJP govt

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the government has started a campaign regarding the ration card. While issuing some guidelines regarding the ration card, it has been said that according to this, ineligible ration cardholders should surrender their card. Ration cardholders have been given time by the administration to surrender it. The matter has now assumed a political form.

In a tweet, Lok Sabha MP of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Varun Gandhi, has taken a dig at his own party's government. BJP MP from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat in UP, Varun Gandhi, tweeted from his official Twitter handle and questioned the credibility of the government while talking about the elections.  

Varun Gandhi in his tweet took a dig at the Yogi government, saying that "eligible before the election and ineligible after the election? He said that if all the parameters affecting the lives of the common man are decided by looking at the elections, the governments will lose their credibility. Varun Gandhi further wrote in his tweet that when will the government now remember crores of countrymen who lost their ration cards as soon as the elections are over? Maybe in the next election.''
