Jaipur (Rajasthan), Nov.21 (NT): Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has alleged that Padmavati would not be aired in the state till essential changes as per suggestions are given to the Centre were included in the film.

The Chief Minister on Monday told that the movie will be permitted to release in Rajasthan only after the changes proposed by her in a letter to Union Minister Smriti Irani are met the terms with.

Raje has suggested that the plot of the film should be evaluated by historical experts and film stars to give surety that the sentiments of the Rajputs will not spoil.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed classic drama has been struggling titanic protest by a variety of groups. Many chief ministers have come under the umbrella to disallow the Padmavati in their respective states.

Yesterday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the film will not be permitted to release in the state unless the objectionable scenes are detached.

Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also joined anti- Padmavati- League.

on the other hand, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday unmitigated her support to the film and told that the hullabaloo was "a calculated graph of a  Saffron party to wipe out the freedom of expression".
