MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar assured Priyanka, a volunteer who was injured in the attack, that she is currently recovering. The MLA on Thursday visited Priyanka's house where she was staying under the conveyor belt of the Old City 25th ward. Said courage to family members. Priyanka assured that the corporate hospital in Hyderabad was ready to provide free medical treatment through Arogyasree run by the Andhra Pradesh government to cure her sore throat.

Priyanka Edute spoke to Arogyasree Co-ordinator and asked him to take steps to provide better treatment as soon as possible. Vasupalli handed over Rs 20,000 cash to Priyanka's family members. Priyanka's mother Ravanamma said that the reason for MLA Vasupalli's initiative along with the state government was to get better treatment for their daughter. The event was attended by 39th Ward President Surada Tatarao, Corporator candidate Kolli Simhachalam, Muslim minority leader Mohammad Sadiq, Babji, 38th Ward President Sanyasi Rao and Madhuri.
