Students aspiring admission in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) please take note, the institute has notified that it will accept Joint Entrance Examination  (JEE Main/ Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) score for engineering seats.

Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai, in its admission brochure for B.Tech admission 2021 has stated that candidates having valid JEE Main or SAT scores will also be considered for admission. Students thus will not be bound to appear in VITEEE for admission in Vellore Institute of Technology and can also take admission through JEE or SAT score.

The changes in eligibility criteria will be applicable across all campuses of VIT situated at Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal. Students applying through JEE Main/SAT score-card will be required to upload their JEE/SAT score-card in April/May before the beginning of counselling process. The admission process for VIT B.Tech 2021 has started from November 30. VITEEE application form is available online on the official website viteee.vit.ac.in. Interested candidates can fill the application form up to March 30. VITEEE 2021 will be conducted in April.
