Today is a very special day for former Indian cricketer Venkatapati Raju as he was born on this day in 1969 in Alamuru. He was a left-handed spin bowler while he batted right hand. He has represented India in Tests and ODIs. In the Test, he made his debut against New Zealand on February 2, 1990, while in ODIs, he also made it to New Zealand on March 1, 1990.
