Pappukutty Bhagwathar, a well-known singer and actor of Tollywood and Malayalam films, has no one who knows today. He always remains in discussions about his songs but there is a very sad message for his fans that Pappukutty Bhagwathar died in Kochi on Monday. He was 107 years old. According to media reports, he breathed his last at his home on Monday. He was ill for a long time. The veteran singer and actor is known for his work in films like Viruthan Shank, Kattukurangu, Padicha Kallan, Vilakunja Manushier. Many celebrities have expressed condolences to the veteran artist on social media. The entire South Industry is in grief.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has also mourned the death of the veteran artist. Pinarayi Vijayan said in an official statement, "He came to Malayalam cinema as a child artist, later an active figure in the field of both cinema and theater as an actor and singer for over seven decades. Pappukutty Bhagwathar was born in 1913. He was the second child of Michael and Anna. His wife passed away in 2017. Recently, writer-director Saichi aka Kei Sachidanandan died due to cardiac arrest. Saichi's close relatives and colleagues have mourned the death of a talented filmmaker on social media.
