Teachers and departmental officers are engaged in preparation along with the villagers. Last year also, under the campaign, education was started in 58 schools in the district. This year, this campaign will be started from Peddajojer of Padmur Panchayat in Bijapur block.

Fifteen years ago, more than 300 schools in South Bastar were closed due to the Salwa Judum campaign against Naxalites and violence. Naxalites had demolished dozens of school buildings. Efforts are being made to reopen such schools for two years. In the last session, the villagers had prepared huts for the schools themselves. The local educated were made as Gyanadoot teachers and were entrusted with the responsibility of teaching. Preparations are being made to open a school in Naxal-affected village Peddajojer in July. The Maoists had demolished the school buildings in the interiors. Due to this, 139 schools were closed. About 58 schools were started in these schools, including 19 in the National Park of Bhopalpatnam area, six in Usur and five in Bijapur.

BEO Mohammad Zakir Khan of Bijapur said that preparations are being made to start schools closed on the initiative of villagers. The number of children is being surveyed by the villagers. The hut is also being prepared for initial school operation with public support. The pucca building will be constructed by the administration later. In Chhattisgarh Tenth Board results declared on Tuesday, children of Sukma and Dantewada districts who are known in the country and the world for terror have emerged as educators. 90 of Sukma district and 85 percent of Dantewada candidates have achieved success. Sukma's percentage was first in the state. It is expected that in this area of terror, the school reopening will bring a big change.
