One of the most renowned actors in South Industry Kasinadhuni Viswanath passes away at 92. He takes his last breath in a private hospital. According to the information, Viswanath was unwell for some time and was suffering from age-related issues.
The family in an official statement confirmed the news and wrote, "Famous director K Viswanath passed away a while ago. His body was taken home from Apollo Hospital by his family members." He was born in February 1930 in Andhra Pradesh. A prominent name not just in Telugu cinema but also in Tamil and Hindi films, he became the 48th recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke award, the highest recognition in Indian cinema.
As per the information he was admitted to a private hospital in the city due to age related illness. His passing comes as a shock to the Telugu film industry, with many celebrities taking to social media to express their disbelief. As soon as this news caught the eyes of people they started paying tribute to the veteran actor. Chiranjeevi took to the social media wrote, "I am shocked to hear the passing of Viswanath, a great director who took Telugu films to an international level. His passing is a huge loss not just to me but for the Telugu film industry”
Viswanath began his career as a sound recordist at Vauhini Studios in Madras, where his father, K Subramanyam, worked as an associate. Viswanath, who started his journey as a sound artiste, directed award-winning films such as "Sankarabharanam", "Sagara Sangamam", "Swati Mutyam", "Saptapadi", "Kaamchor", "Sanjog" and "Jaag Utha Insaan" in his long career that included an equally successful stint in front of the camera.
