One of the most popular actors of her time Mandakani who has become popular for his role in Ram Teri Ganga Meli Ho Gai has recently opened up on the on boycott trends. As recently two big Budget films Rakshabandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha failed to win the box office battle due to these Boycott Trends.
A veteran actress speaking about the cancel culture said, "I feel it is really wrong. I don't support this. Every person works hard. Vo ye soch ke kaam karta hai ki karodo log meri movie dekhenge aur pyaar denge. Usme mein se kisi ek ko choose karna aur kehna iski movie mat dekhiye, I don't think it is fair. But then again, some people feel that they have support so they can say anything. And some people feel they don't have support. [They feel] if we say something, then we will get into the bad books. There are all kinds of people - some are afraid, some are outspoken. So I feel this is not the correct thing. Not at all."
Further speaking about the Boycott Trends the actress said, "Vo aapko khush karne ke liye kaam kar raha hai [aur] aap paisa kharch karke dekhte hai, toh be happy and watch it. Agar aapko itni energy lagani hai kisiko boycott karne mein, toh dusre itne issues hai na humare India mein. Usme kyu nahi log karte? I don't understand that. Kitni galat cheeze ho rahi hai. Uske liye stand lijiye. Ek artist ko disgrace karna ya usko kuch ulta-seedha bolna, kya milega? What will you get?,"
