New Delhi: Pakistan has been fumed after the Central Government removed Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He is using all kinds of tactics to provoke the issue. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that the security and integrity of the country is paramount for every Indian. During a meeting with a delegation of elected Panchs and Sarpanches, he said that the issue of PoK will be discussed only with Pakistan.

Referring to the temporary restrictions imposed on various civic amenities after the repeal of most sections of Article 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, Naidu said that its purpose was to thwart the intention of mischievous elements of causing disturbance and unrest. He said that now these restrictions are gradually being removed. Under this, communication facilities are also being introduced in a phased manner.

The Vice President's office issued a statement saying that Naidu while addressing the sarpanches emphasized that security and unity and integrity of the nation is paramount for every Indian. He said that after the removal of Article 370, the pace of development in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, which has been declared a Union Territory, will pick up.

Naidu also shared the information of the meeting with the sarpanches on Twitter, saying, "Today I met the delegation of sarpanches from Jammu and Kashmir at his residence and after the removal of article 370 of the constitution, the development works in the area are ready Urged to work tirelessly to reach the masses. In fact, after the abolition of special status in Kashmir, the government had imposed many restrictions.
