New Delhi: The country's Vice President and Rajya Sabha Speaker Venkaiah Naidu has conducted his corona test before the monsoon session of Parliament begins on September 14. The Vice-President's Secretariat has given information in this regard. Let us say that before the monsoon session of Parliament begins from September 14, all members have been asked to conduct a coronavirus test (RT-PCR).

"Rajya Sabha Speaker M Venkaiah Naidu has conducted the Coronavirus test to lead the forthcoming monsoon session of Parliament from September 14, 2020," said a statement issued by the Secretariat. Also, as per the advisory issued by the Rajya Sabha, all the members who are involved in the proceedings of the House are required to undergo corona tests. According to the secretariat's statement, the members are not authorized by the government to take up any hospital. The laboratory or Parliament House complex has been asked to conduct its corona test within 72 hours before the commencement of the session.

The Secretariat further said that 57 MPs have been provided seating in the upper house while arrangements have been made for 51 members in the galleries of the House and 136 members in the Lok Sabha room. In addition, each seat will have a microphone so that members can participate in the discussion.
