Vicky Kaushal has completed 12 years in the film industry and has now become a Bollywood superstar. His recently released movie 'Bad News' has done a business of more than 100 crores at the box office. But his journey to reach here was not easy at all. Recently, in Sony TV's chat show 'Aapka Apna Zakir', his brother Sunny Kaushal shared a funny anecdote related to Vicky's struggling days with his fans. He told how he and Vicky went with their friend to audition for a Bhojpuri film.

Both the brothers auditioned together: When the show's host Zakir Khan asked Sunny if he had also given auditions and did you and Vicky go for auditions together? Sunny replied, "Yes, both of us brothers used to go for auditions together. At that time there were no WhatsApp groups like today, but we had a friend circle. We all used to tell each other where the auditions were taking place."

Sunny Kaushal continued his talk and said that "We used to inform each other that today auditions are being held in Aramnagar Part 1 or auditions are being held on the first floor of Shreeji Studio. Then we all used to go together for auditions. Wherever we came to know that a boy between 20 to 25 years is being searched, we used to reach there immediately and give our audition. Once we even went to audition for a Bhojpuri film."

Story of Bhojpuri film audition: Vicky and Sunny going for Bhojpuri film audition is an interesting story. Sunny has said about this, "We had left for audition since morning and it had been 4-5 hours, but not a single audition had taken place. There were three of us - me, Vicky and one of our friends. The three of us had decided that we will definitely give at least one audition today. Then we saw that Bhojpuri film auditions were going on at a place."

Facing rejection: Sunny Kaushal said in a funny way, "We reached the place where the audition for Bhojpuri film was going on. We knocked on the door and asked if we were fit for the audition? He looked at us and said, 'All three are fit, come.' Then we gave the audition, but we were rejected immediately. After this, we left from there and laughingly thought that at least we gave an audition." This anecdote of Vicky Kaushal and his brother Sunny shows how difficult the path to stardom was for them. They learned to wander from place to place for auditions and face rejection. This anecdote of being rejected in the audition of Bhojpuri films has now become a funny memory, but at that time it was a part of their struggle.
