Vicky Kaushal is one of the most loved actors in the Bollywood Industry. Earlier a news is spread all over according to this the actor is all set to bring the story of one of the important characters of Mahabharata that is Ashwatthama but there is an update about the same. As per the new reports Vicky opted out from the film

According to the information, The Uri: The Surgical Strike' famed director Aditya Dhar's 'The Immortal Ashwatthama' is set to go on floors. However, just before commencing the shoot,  the reports are spread all over that Vicky Kaushal has reportedly opted out of the film, and makers are now looking for a replacement.

Reportedly, the movie, which is being made on a huge scale, initially had Vicky and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles. As per the new reports the producer and director clashed over the film’s cast. While Aditya continued to want his actor Vicky Kaushal, Jio Studios was not confident that the venture would then be able to rake in sufficient profits over the huge budget that needed to be invested. 

The Immortal Ashwatthama will be directed by Aditya Dhar. The Immortal Ashwatthama is a retelling of mythology. Ashwatthama was mentioned in Mahabharata and it is perhaps the first time that a film is being made about him in Hindi cinema. A source speaking about the film said Aditya wants to introduce the Immortal Ashwatthama from Mahabharata in a superhero format, and believes that his story can cross national boundaries too. He is all excited and is finally and actually set to take the film on floors by next summer. It’s an extremely costly film, but Aditya has big ambitions.
