Chandigarh: Nikita's mother and maternal uncle will no longer testify in the famous Nikita murder case of Faridabad, Riyana. There will be some more witnesses, whose testimony will not be recorded in the court. It is not that these witnesses have refused to give testimony, rather the prosecution lawyers do not consider their testimony necessary due to a large number of witnesses.

At 4 pm on 26 October, Nikita was shot in front of the Aggarwal College of Ballabhgarh at the time when she came out of the college after giving her BCom final paper. However, this entire incident was captured in CCTV cameras. The cousin of Noak Congress MLA Aftab Ahmed, named Tausif is accused. Tausif has confessed in police custody that he had planned to kill Nikita after watching the web series 'Mirzapur'.

Tausif wanted to marry Nikita. In this case, the police had filed a charge sheet in less than 1 month and demanded a fast track court to hear the matter, after which the hearing of this case is going on in the fast track court. Advocate in this case and Nikita's maternal uncle Edal Singh said that about 60 people have been made witnesses in this case, but the testimony of all the witnesses is not necessary, so about 35 to 40 witnesses will be brought to court in this case.
