Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan are all set for their upcoming film Bhediya and are leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film. During a recent promotional event Kriti Sanon climbed up the roof of Mumbai's Gaiety Galaxy theatre for an impromptu dance performance on Friday.
Recently the song from the movie released. The song has received a good response from the audience, garnering 4.2 million views within a few hours of release. To perform on this song, the duo took things a notch higher by performing on the roof of Mumbai's Gaiety Galaxy theatre. The video of the instance is doing rounds on internet. In a viral video, a person was seen shielding Kriti Sanon's head as she climbed on the roof. The Bollywood diva, who donned a blue saree, oozed swag as she grooved to the beats of Thumkeshwari along with Varun Dhawan. Varun was seen in a white kurta and blue jeans hile. The crowd gathered outside the theatre was excited to see the duo perform on Thumkeshwari, netizens trolled Kriti Sanon for climbing the roof for a 'five-minute act'.
As soon as it catches the eyes of people fans are started praising them meanwhile some brutally criticized her. One user wrote,'Spider-woman'. One user commented, "Omg, Kriti Sanon has turned into a spider-woman" while another commented, "There was no need to do such stuff." Another wrotre, “Itna sab kyun kar rahe ho (why are you doing so much),” Talking about the large crowd, a person wrote, “Inme se ek picture dekhne nhi phchga...dekh lena (You'll see how none of these people will actually watch the movie).” Another joked, “Neta election ke time aur actors & actress promotion ke time kuch bhi kar sakte hai (Politicians during elections and actors during movie promotions can do anything).
Bhediya is part of producer Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, comprising Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor's Stree and Roohi, featuring Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. It is directed by Stree director Amar Kaushik from a script by Niren Bhatt, best known for writing web-series Asur.
