These days sexual crimes against animals are increasing day by day. In yet another shocking incident reported from the national capital Delhi where a man raped a dog in the park. The shameful incident was also caught on camera. The video is doing rounds on the internet. It created a ruckus and animal welfare organizations are criticizing the incident.

 A stray dog was raped by an unknown person in Delhi. The incident was reported from the Hari Nagar area of the national capital. The dog was raped at a park in the area. The Locals of Hari Nagar registered a complaint at a police station after a video of the incident went viral. On the basis of their complaint police sprung into action and booked the accused under section 377/11 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Animal Act.

 

The incident comes to light when an animal feeder spotted the incident and caught it on camera. After this, the locals approached the police to file a case and report the crime. However, it was reported that the police officials denied taking cognizance of the dog being raped. "SHO convinced him to not file a complaint and said that let the guy come again 2-3 days later then they will take action...”

The video of the shameful incident went viral and was tweeted online by Anti-Cruelty officer Tarun Agarwal.  Member of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Pankhuri Pathak sharing the video wrote, "Let us be clear. By not filing a FIR and arresting this monster, @DelhiPolice is shielding and enabling a rapist. What is stopping SHO Harinagar from taking action?" However not a FIR has been filed against the accused.
