Lucknow: A video from Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow is going viral on social media, in which a policeman is seen molesting a girl student. The said policeman has been identified as Shahadat Ali. It can be seen in the video that the girl student is going on a bicycle and policeman Shahadat Ali is going by her side with his scooty. Meanwhile, another woman saw his act and thrashed him fiercely on the road itself. This video has been shared by TV9UttarPradesh on its Twitter handle.

The person who made this video was sitting on a scooty which was being driven by a woman. These people were coming out from behind the victim student and that policeman. In the video, the said person can be heard saying that there is no number plate in the vehicle (of the policeman). In the video, the woman is asking the policeman, 'Aap kaun bhai sahib? Do you know her (the student)?' On this the policeman replies that the girl student studies in the school with her child. On this the woman asks him to stop and put the car on the side. 

However, the policeman mispronounces the name of the school. On this the woman said that this policeman is following the girls like this every day. Along with this, the woman also asked him to remove the helmet, so that his identity would be revealed. The policeman also took off his helmet. When the lady asked why your vehicle does not have a number plate, he replied that it is a battery vehicle. On this the woman asked if there is no number plate in the vehicle with battery? 

After the viral video surfaced, the statement of the UP Police has also come to the fore. Lucknow Police has said that, Taking cognizance of the matter, legal action is being taken against the said policeman by registering charges against him in Police Station Cantt. The procedure for departmental action is prevalent. Regarding this video, social media users have said that Shahadat Ali is tarnishing the uniform by doing this type of act with small girls. There is also a demand to suspend and arrest him.
