Radhika Merchant is all set to become the Billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s Daughter in Law. Anant Ambani and Radhika formally engaged with Radhika Merchant, on Thursday, January 19.
The Grand Engagement Bash was held in the presence of families from both sides, friends and others, at the Antilia residence of the Ambanis. As per the information rituals were followed during the engagement including Gol Dhana, literally meaning jaggery and coriander seeds and Chunari Vidhi followed since generations among Gujarati Hindu families. After this, rings were exchanged.
For the engagement party Radhika was dressed in a golden lehenga while Anant wore a deep blue outfit. Nita Ambani wore a red-golden saree, Isha Ambani was seen in a white lehenga and Shloka Ambani was seen in a cream lehenga with pastel flowers. Akash Ambani wore a teal-coloured outfit. Mukesh Ambani wore a golden kurta pyjama with a golden jacket.
A video from the Grand Engagement is doing rounds on internet where Mother in Law to be Nita Ambani is seen giving a grand welcome to Radhika with a traditional aarti. Nita introduces the bride-to-be to all family members including Mukesh Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani and more family members. The Ambani family also got together to pose for the shutterbugs, and the family portraits are frame-worthy.
Earlier Radhika and Anant had a traditional Roka ceremony on December 30 at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Later, Mukesh Ambani threw the couple a lavish party at his Mumbai residence Antilia where many B-town celebrities like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh were present. The celebrity lineup also included Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, Zaheer Khan, and Sagarika Ghatge.
