Vidya Sinha celebrates her birthday on 15 November every year. Today is her birthday. She is a very old actress but still makes a big appearance on screen. She has won the hearts of all by working in films like 'Rajinigandha' and 'Chhoti Baat'. In today's time, she is also making a splash in the TV industry. Few people know that Vidya Sinha has also been Miss Bombay. She started modelling and acting after that.

Vidya made her debut in films with 'Raja Kaka' (1974) and after that she became famous. In ten years she did 30 films which were all the best. Today we are going to tell you an interesting anecdote related to her life. Legendary actor and producer-director Raj Kapoor wanted to cast Vidya in his film 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram', but, Vidya did not speak to Raj Kapoor because of the scenes in the film. It was a big deal in itself to refuse Raj Kapoor at that time, but Vidya did not tell him clearly.

Once she herself told that "I forbade Raj Kapoor Ji and I still regret it but I was not comfortable in the clothes Zeenat wore in that film." Vidya Sinha got married in 1968 before coming to films but it did not make any difference to her career. In 1996, Vidya's husband died after a long illness. She then remarried to Bhimrao Salunke, an Indian-origin doctor, but this marriage hurt her a lot. She eventually divorced. She is currently winning hearts by acting in TV serials.
