MUMBAI: In the extreme sports action film "Crakk," Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, and Jacqueline Fernandez will play the leads. The Aditya Datt-directed movie is slated to arrive in theatres in 2023.

"Crakk" will be jointly produced by Vidyut, Parag Sanghvi, and Action Hero Films. It will be presented by Reliance Entertainment and made by Action Hero Films & PZ Pictures.

"Everyone sets restrictions on whatever they do, and it spreads in work and the surroundings," actor-producer Vidyut stated in reference to the current situation and the way audiences have evolved. "This evolving situation has demonstrated that there are no boundaries, only plateaus, and that we must move beyond them. We have to surpass them. Hence, an Indian film about extreme sports." Aditya Datt, the director, added: "After "Table No 21" became popular in 2012, I was informed that because it was a thriller centred around live-streamed games, it was extremely ahead of its time.

They must have been referring to now, when time has undoubtedly changed." In order to "raise the ante and challenge oneself, by presenting a story that has sports, gaming, action, drama, and thrill," he continued, he has been working on the script "Crakk" for the past four years. The story of a man's journey from the Mumbai slums to the realm of extreme underground sports is told in the film "Crakk."

Says Arjun Rampal "Here I am in "Crakk," which merely provides everything mentioned above and much more. Vidyut is a really excellent athlete, and I pick up something new from him every day. His commitment to crafting flawless action sequences is genuinely admirable." Jacqueline said she was deeply moved by the "Crakk" screenplay narration and agreed right away to take part in such an original tale.

"Crakk" is produced by Action Hero Films & PZ Pictures, presented by Reliance Entertainment, and co-produced by Adi Sharmaa and Aditya Chowksey. It was written by Aditya Datt, Sarim Momim, and Rehan Khan with additional dialogue written by Mohendar Pratap Singh. Aditya Datt directed the film, which starred Vidyut Jammwal.
