Saurashtra won the toss and elected to bowl first in the finals. Karnataka in-form batsmen Mayank Agarwal missed out a ton against Saurashtra. Mayank scores 90 runs of 79 balls including 11 fours and three sixes. Mayank Agarwal score runs with the strike rate of 113 plus. Karnataka lose couple of wicket at score of 5 runs. Ravikumar Samarth and Pavan Deshpande missed their half century. Karnataka manage to score 253 runs in 45.5 overs. For Saurashtra Kamlesh Makvana takes four crucial wickets for 34 runs.

Saurashtra will be wary of the threat as Karnataka opener Mayank Agarwal pose to them. Mayank Agarwal is the tournament’s highest scorer with 723 runs which including 90 runs in the final. With the likes of Karun Nair and Stuart Binny in the side, Karnataka look a strong unit but 253 runs is not enough in this modern era cricket.

Focus however will be on Indian national team cricketer all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who has been out of favor in the limited-overs international team for some time now. India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is captain of the Saurashtra team. Mayank Agarwal has steady the Karnataka innings after early blows against Saurashtra in the national one-day championship final for the Vijay Hazare Trophy at the Ferozeshah Kotla on Tuesday.
