Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has expressed shock over the huge fire that broke out at the Swarna Palace Hotel which was transformed as Covid care centre in Peta, Vijayawada. He ordered an inquiry about this fire incident. He directed the Chief Minister's Office officials to submit a full report on this and also ordered to take immediate action. He said better medical treatment should be provided to the injured.

It is known that the authorities have explained to the Chief Minister's Office that the owner of Ramesh Hospital in Vijayawada has converted the Swarna Palace Hotel into a Covid Center. The officials said the hospital was set up in a leased hotel. CMO officials told CM that a preliminary investigation had revealed that the coronavirus had infected the patients there. The CM directed to take immediate steps to ensure better medical services to the victims of the accident.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to conduct an in-depth inquiry into the incident and report the incident to him. Revenue Minister Vellampalli Srinivas, who is already from Vijayawada, has already responded to the incident. He directed the authorities to provide better medical care to the victims.
