New Delhi: In the Vikas Dubey encounter case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) can now investigate assets worth Rs 150 crore. The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating this entire case, has made such a proposal in front of the Yogi government of UP. The SIT has given a detailed report to the government, in which a total of 9 points have been made the basis. Vikas Dubey collapsed in a police encounter in Kanpur in July, after which a three-member team was formed. The SIT has demanded action on a total of 90 policemen and other officers of the department in this matter from the UP government.

The SIT says that all these officers helped Vikas Dubey to make illegal property. The SIT has said in its 3100-page report that all these officers should be acted upon and punished under the law. This report was submitted only in October. Recently the UP government has received it. In which it has been claimed that the local authorities did not take any action against Vikas Dubey, but assisted him in preparing fake SIMs, weapons, passports, fake documents.

The officers have a hand in preparing the gang, against whom action is necessary. The SIT has demanded ED action on assets worth about Rs 150 crore. The UP government has already taken action on many policemen on the recommendation of SIT.
