He left Kolkata in 1942 and said goodbye to Kolkata for Fazil Brothers' second movie Fashion.

From there, he came close to Ramanand Sagar. He got the advantage when Ramanand Sagar cast him for the role of Betal in the serial Vikram Aur Betal. Vikram Aur Betal was the first show that featured special effects on TV. It is expected that it will be renewed soon at the time of lockdown.
