One of the renowned actors in Bollywood actor Vikram Gokhale who has featured in various big bollywood movies is on a life support system. His health condition is still critical and is on a life support system. Dr Dhananjay Kelkar, from Deenanth Mangeshkar Hospital where presently he is undergoing treatment but his death rumors, are surfaced on social media.

The doctor denied all the rumors of the passing away of the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor. Vrushali Gokhale, the wife of Vikram Gokhale has refuted reports of her husband's death. Vrushali said that Vikram 'slipped into coma' on Wednesday afternoon and is currently on a ventilator.

Vrushali further added that Vikram has been in Pune's Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital since November 5.  As soon as the fake news of his catches the eyes of people various people started commenting on it. Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Aly Goni, Jaaved Jaafery among others, took to Twitter to express condolences.

Vrushali Gokhale rubbishes all the rumors. She said, "He slipped into coma yesterday afternoon and post that, he has not responded to touch. He is on ventilator. Doctors will decide tomorrow morning what to do, depending on whether he's improving, sinking or still not responding. He improved a bit but slipped again. He has had a host of issues, like in heart and kidney. At the moment, he has had a multi-organ failure." Vikram's daughter also told ANI, "He is still critical and on life support and has not passed yet. Keep praying for him."

On the work front, Vikram has appeared in various Marathi and Bollywood films, including Agneepath, starring Amitabh Bachchan in 1990, and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan i. With the Marathi film Aaghaat, he also made his directorial debut. Other notable work of the actor includes Mission Mangal, Hichki, Aiyaari, Bang Bang!, De Dana Dan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
