Vikram University staffers celebrate Deepawali with destitute girls

Vikram University staffers celebrated Deepalwali on Friday at Government Girls’ shelter home at Lalpur. The staffers handed out water bottles and chocolates on this occasion.

Addressing the girl’s vice-chancellor Prof Akhilesh Kumar Pandey asked to take oath to eliminate darkness from the lives of destitute people by giving them smile of light. Registrar Dr UN Shukla and Proctor Prof Shailendra Kumar Sharma, Dr RK Ahirwar, NSA coordinator Dr Prashant Puranik, Dr Raman Solanki, Dr Pradeep Lakhre, D Shekhar Medamwar, Dr Ajay Sharma and other staffers also addressed the girls and wished them for happy Diwali. The girls of the shelter home gifted bouquets to the guests. The programme was conducted by Dr Sushant Puranik while gratitude was expressed by Dr RK Ahirwar.
