New Delhi: Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is celebrating his 41st birthday today. On Dhoni's 41st birthday, former captain Virat Kohli shared an emotional post. Dhoni, during his captaincy, showed confidence in Virat when he was facing poor form and he was in danger of being dropped from the team. Even Virat did not let this trust of Dhoni be broken and when he returned to form, he gave Team India a lot of memorable victories.
Now Kohli has wished Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his birthday and shared two pictures. The first photo is from the 2011 World Cup final. When Team India became the winner under Dhoni's captaincy. Dhoni has Virat wrapped up with tricolour. The second photo is from the time in the IPL when both of them were the captains of their respective teams. Virat Kohli has given up the captaincy of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), while Mahendra Singh Dhoni also gave up the captaincy of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) before IPL 2022, although dhoni had to take over the reins of the team again in the middle season when Ravindra Jadeja decided to hand over the captaincy back to him.
