India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli are currently playing cricket. Indeed, they say that all players and other members participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL) should respect the bio-safe environment of the tournament. Recently while speaking on RCB's YouTube program 'Bold Diaries', Virat said that, 'He was not missing cricket during the lockdown imposed due to covid-19'.

Apart from this, he said, 'I was playing continuously for the last ten years. In a way, it revealed a new mystery to me that I was not missing the game all the time. We have all come here to play cricket. It is important to respect the bio safe environment at all times during the tournament. We have not come here to have fun and to roam around and say that I want to roam in Dubai. Let us tell you that Virat is now engaged in preparations for the IPL starting in the UAE on 19 September. Recently, he said, 'All partners must follow the restrictions imposed due to BCCI's standard operating procedure and bio-safe environment. Right now we are not living in this kind of era. Accept the phase we are going through now and understand the right that we have got to be a part of IPL. Everyone should accept it and do not behave in a way that is contrary to the situation.

He also talked about returning to the game after five months. During this, Virat said that, 'till two months ago you could not think that we will play in the IPL. When we had a practice session yesterday, I realized how much time has passed. It was a little nervous when I was going for a practice session. By the way, if we talk about Virat's personal life, he is going to be a father soon and he had announced it in the past.
