Kohli said this in a video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The board posted this short video message of Kohli on Twitter. In the video, Kohli is saying, "To be honest, I never thought in my life that I would be able to play 100 Tests. It's been quite a long journey. Kohli said, "I consider myself fortunate to have got the opportunity to play these 100 Tests. I played a lot of international cricket during this journey. It's worked very hard to get here. This is an important opportunity for me and my family. Especially for my coach, who was the happiest. I've learned from them in my career.''Â
Kohli further said that earlier he used to play small innings, but the idea of playing big innings came from 7th and 8th grades when I scored some big double centuries in junior cricket. Scored a lot of runs. I believed then that I should play long innings. Play hard at the crease. I was enjoying my batting. I'm always trying to get my team to win. These are the things that teach you a lot. That's your real test, too. Experience in Tests matters a lot.
