PERTH: The charismatic batter was playing in the ICC T20 World Cup Super-12 game against South Africa on Sunday night when a fan allegedly invaded their hotel privacy and recorded a video of their room. Former India captain Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma responded angrily.

Kohli shared a video on social media that had previously been published by an anonymous user on another social media platform with the comment "King Kohli's hotel room." The brief film briefly pans through Kohli's lodgings.
In addition to posting the fan's video on Instagram, Kohli said, "I understand that fans get really thrilled and enthusiastic seeing their favorite players and become excited to meet them. I've always appreciated it.

But this video right here is disgusting, and it's given me serious privacy concerns. Where can I truly expect any personal space if I can't even have it in my hotel room? This kind of fanaticism and blatant invasion of privacy is NOT acceptable to me. Do not use people as a commodity for amusement; rather, respect their right to privacy.

The claimed video of their hotel room prompted Anushka to vent on social media as well, writing, "Incidents where certain fans have shown neither compassion or grace in the past but this really is the worst thing. A celebrity ho Toh deal karna parega (if you are a star you have to deal with such things)!, and everybody who sees this and thinks thus, should realise that you're also contributing to the problem. Everyone benefits from using self-restraint. Where is the limit if this is happening in your bedroom as well? Anushka inquired.

Actress Urvashi Rautela responded to Kohli's post on her verified account by writing, "Absolutely!! Immoral, unscrupulous, imagine they did the same with a girl's room #unprincipled #dishonourable," while Australian batting legend David Warner tweeted, "This is absurd, completely unethical. Was this the (hotel's name) @crownperth?
