New Delhi: Team India has suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. This was followed by fireworks in some parts of the country celebrating Pakistan's victory. Former Team India opener Virender Sehwag has strongly objected to this. Sehwag tweeted where the crackers finally came from when they are banned in India.
Â
Firecrackers are banned during Diwali but yesterday in parts of India there were firecrackers to celebrate Pakistan ‘s victory. Achha they must have been celebrating victory of cricket. Toh , what’s the harm in fireworks on Diwali. Hypocrisy kyun ,Saara gyaan tab hi yaad aata hai

Former batsman Virender Sehwag tweeted, "There is a ban on firecrackers during Diwali, but yesterday crackers were fired in parts of India to celebrate Pakistan's victory. Well, if they are celebrating the victory of cricket, what is the harm in bursting crackers on Deepawali? Why hypocrisy, all knowledge is remembered on Diwali. In fact, videos have been going viral on social media since morning where People of India are seen celebrating Pakistan's victory. Some videos have also been found that are going on with fireworks.
However, Newstracklive does not confirm many such pictures and videos that go viral on social media. Some social media users have been referring to the video in Delhi's Seelampur area and some users have posted more videos showing some youths celebrating Pakistan's victory.
