Mangaluru: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has declared the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana government to be anti-Hindu and has announced a nationwide agitation. The proposal was passed at the conclusion of the 3-day meeting of the Central Management Committee and Board of Trustees running here. It was said in the meeting that the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are favoring Hindus by indulging in Muslim and Christian appeasement. Both governments are trying to acquire Hindu temples.

The VHP said that non-Hindu administrators who do not have reverence for Hindu deities are appointed in the management of the temple. The VHP has alleged that the tax of Hindus is being spent in the salary of clerics and clergy, while the Hindu pilgrims are getting more rent. The rules of Tirumala Tirupati temples are not being followed. Without taking oath, people of other faiths are being violated by entering the temple.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that a nationwide movement will be launched against these conspiracies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In the first phase of the agitation, demonstrating at the district headquarters of the country, the memorandum addressed to the President will be handed over to the district officials. After this, sit-in demonstrations will be organized in Andhra and Telangana.
