Former world champion Viswanathan Anand's poor performance in the $ 150000 Legends of Chase online tournament continues unabated. Viswanathan has suffered a 2-3 defeat against Ian Nepomniachtchi of Russia. It was Vishwanathan Anand's sixth defeat in this tournament. Vishwanathan started the sixth round match with a draw. Vishwanathan Anand showed a good defensive game and after 53 moves both players agreed to the draw.

Anand, who is making his debut on the Magnus Carlsen Tour, is in 9th place with 3 points.
