Vivek Agnihotri, The director of Kashmir Files is very active on social media and shares his views on different political and film industry-related issues. Recently Karan Johar took to twitter and deleted his twitter account with a small note.

Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, "Quitters never win. Winners never quit." Soon, he quote-tweeted his own tweet and added, " I believe a genuine person seeking positive energies would leave Social Media completely. Leaving only Twitter because it doesn’t allow hypocrisy or fakeness but staying on Instagram because it gets brands and allows fakeness itself is negative and screwed-up approach to life."

Earlier Karan Johar tweeted on Monday, “Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter!” Karan has deleted his Twitter account.  As soon as it catches the eyes of people they started commenting on it. One tweeted, “Focus on your mental health and Brahmastra part 2. Good luck. Sending positivity.” Another tweet read, “Positive energy and peace is far more important than any social media platform.” One also wrote, “You won't be missed.” A person also tweeted in Hindi, “He (Karan) will delete this account and start using an unknown account.”

Speaking of Kashmir Files was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and ended up grossing over ₹350 crore worldwide, largely due to strong word of mouth. The film, directed by Pallavi’s husband  Vivek Agnihotri, dealt with the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley over 30 years ago. The film beat out several big releases like Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, and Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj in the box office race.
