Kashmir Files is one of the most loved movies of the year. It is directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film became a blockbuster hit at the box office. Made with a budget of about 15 crores, this film earned 340 crores only from cinemas. The film earned a whopping amount only by mouth publicity.

A user shared a video and wrote, 'Kashmiri Pandits are being killed continuously in the valley but the government, which claims itself to be a contractor of Hindus, has fallen asleep. He was not bothered by the constant killings, and atrocities. Things are very bad. Kashmiri Pandits are going through the crisis of the 90s.

Shreyansh Tripathi retweeting this tweet tagged Vivek Agnihotri and asked, “Will Vivek Agnihotri be able to make Kashmir files on this? ‘ After this, Vivek Agnihotri gave his answer to the question of crores of users. Vivek Agnihotri wrote, “Yes, the work is on. Wait until the middle of 2023.”

Kashmir files is the based on the  family of 56-year-old Bhat performed his last rites in Jammu on Sunday after the body was brought from South Kashmir's Shopian district. The scenes of the inconsolable Bhat's family amidst the recent incidents of killings, repression of minorities in the Valley, terrorism and high-pitched slogans against Pakistan were spine-chilling. There was a public influx in Kashmir regarding his murder.

Speaking of Kashmir Files was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and ended up grossing over ₹350 crore worldwide, largely due to strong word of mouth. The film, directed by Pallavi’s husband  Vivek Agnihotri, dealt with the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley over 30 years ago. The film beat out several big releases like Ranbir Kapoor’s Shams Hera, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, and Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj in the box office race.
