Taking a step forward in the ongoing price war since Jio's arrival in India, Vodafone has launched a new reward program for its prepaid subscribers. Under the 'Every Recharge Pay Reward' offer, the company is offering rewards on all prepaid recharges. Vodafone's offer is for a limited time. The company is making it available in all circles of the country. The offer will be available on minimum price recharges as well as cheap SMS and data packs.
For your information, Vodafone's prepaid subscribers are being offered extra telecom benefits under this offer. These benefits may be more than the cost of recharge. In this reward program, the company is offering customers services such as unlimited calling, extra data, cashback, free SMS, caller tune and missed call intimation. Note that Vodafone has said that subscribers will be given cashback benefits on recharges made from My Vodafone App.
Subscribers of this plan will receive an SMS alert on every recharge. In this SMS alert, subscribers will be asked to dial the USSD short code *9992 or visit My Vodafone to claim the benefit on recharge. Subscribers will have 72 hours to get this benefit. If the claim is not made within 72 hours of receiving the SMS, the benefit will be automatically lapsed.
Vodafone launched two new plans for Indian users earlier this month. In both these plans, users are being given calling, data and SMS benefits. In case of a Rs 205 plan, a total of 600 SMSs are being offered to users with a 35-day validity. The plan, which comes with unlimited local, STD and roaming calling benefits, offers 2GB of data to subscribers for the entire validity period. On the other hand, the Rs 225 plan provides users with a total of 4GB of data with a 48-day validity. With unlimited local, STD and roaming calling, 600 free Sms will be available.
