The launch of the MyAmber app has been announced in the country today in collaboration with Vodafone Idea Foundation, NASSCOM Foundation, Safety Trust and UN Women. It has been introduced in view of the security and empowerment of women. The app will be available in both Hindi and English language.
Through MyAmber app, women will be able to easily access the required helpline numbers and service providers across the country. The app will help women deal with their current state through step-by-step risk assessment tools. In addition, legal help is provided to women through the app. The MyAmber app offers support services that help women in addition to being aware of bias on sexual grounds so that women can lodge their complaints without any fear and get help without discrimination. The NASSCOM Foundation has designed and developed this app with the content of the Safti Trust and is working with the UN women to enable more and more women across the country to get information about this app so that women can use this app to download.
