Indian telecom companies have recently increased their tariff plan prices. Following Reliance Jio and Airtel's price hike, Vodafone Idea (VI) has also announced a tariff hike for its plans. If you're a VI user, today is your last chance to recharge at the old prices.
VI's new tariff plans will come into effect from July 4, and the company has announced that over 13 plans will see a price increase. These plans include those with validity periods ranging from 28 days to 180 days.
Here are the details of the plans that will see a price hike:
- 28-day validity plans:
- Rs 179 plan: Unlimited calling, 2GB data, and 300 SMS for 28 days. Price will increase to Rs 199 from July 4.
- Rs 269 plan: Daily 1GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. Price will increase to Rs 299 from July 4.
- Rs 299 plan: Daily 1.5GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. Price will increase to Rs 349 from July 4.
- 56-day validity plans:
- Rs 329 plan: 4GB data, unlimited calling, and 600 SMS for 56 days. Price will increase to Rs 369 from July 4.
- Rs 479 plan: Daily 1.5GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. Price will increase to Rs 579 from July 4.
- Rs 539 plan: Daily 2GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. Price will increase to Rs 649 from July 4.
- 84-day validity plans:
- Rs 459 plan: Unlimited calling, 6GB data, and 300 SMS for 84 days. Price will increase to Rs 509 from July 4.
- Rs 719 plan: Daily 1.5GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. Price will increase to Rs 859 from July 4.
- Rs 839 plan: Daily 2GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. Price will increase to Rs 979 from July 4.
- 180-day validity plan:
- Rs 1449 plan: Daily 1.5GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. Price will increase to Rs 1749 from July 4.
Annual plans that will see a price hike include the Rs 2899, Rs 3099, and Rs 3199 plans. Recharging with these plans today will save you Rs 600.
