Volkswagen will announced the date to unveliled the India-bound Taigun. Yes, Volkswagan Taigun is going to unveil on the 24th of this month in Goa. Taigun is a SUVW strategy of the German automobile giant and compete market with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the upcoming Skoda Kushaq in the Indian market.
For your information let us share that this is a Indian built in manufacturing. So Taigun will utilise the same MQB A0 IN platform that underpins the upcoming Kushaq. Let us share that In design concept it can beat market as Taigun is around 4.22 metres and will offer a wheelbase of 2,651mm, which is the same as the Kushaq. While Volkswagen is yet to announce the minute details, the Taigun is likely to get 188mm of ground clearance, which is the same as the Kushaq. Since both Taigun and the Kushaq will be based on the same India-spec platforms, the dimensions will remain similar. We can even expect a few common features between the two cars.
Talking about the price it is expected that the base price is to be around Rs 10 lakh while the top-end variant may touch about Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom. The Volkswagen T-Roc, which is a CBU vehicle is of around a similar size to the Taigun will continue to be available in the market and will be aimed at enthusiasts.
