Berlin: Volkswagen of Germany has introduced the Tiguan in a new form. In comparison to the previous model, the SUV now has updated interiors and more features. The price of the premium mid-size model in India is Rs. 34.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
The SUV now has Level 1 ADAS features, including Park Assist, to boost its level of convenience and safety.
The Tiguan is a flagship model for Volkswagen and one of the most well-liked vehicles in India. The SUV helped popularise the premium mid-size segment on our soil alongside the SKODA KODIAQ.

The four-wheeler now comes standard with a safety net of Level 1 ADAS features in its updated MY-2023 avatar. The automaker's rivals include the Jeep Meridian and the Hyundai TUCSON.
The overall shape of the outgoing model is carried over to the 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan. It has an arched bonnet, a chrome grille, adaptive 'IQ.LIGHT' LED headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, a wide air dam, silvered roof rails, ORVMs mounted with indicators, flared wheel arches, and 18-inch 'Frankfurt' alloy wheels. The SUV's back features shark-fin antennas, roof-mounted spoilers, and wraparound LED taillamps.

The interior of the Volkswagen Tiguan has premium dual-tone "Storm Grey" leather upholstery for the five seats. Along with an 8.0-inch infotainment system with gesture control, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, and ambient lighting are included. Six airbags and Level 1 ADAS functions protect passengers.
The 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine that powers the Volkswagen Tiguan continues to function mechanically unaltered and is connected to a 7-speed DSG gearbox with four-wheel drive technology. The motor has a maximum output of 187 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Nm.
The fully loaded Elegance trim of the Volkswagen Tiguan is now available in India for Rs. 34.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated SUV is now offered in seven different colours. In our opinion, the updated Tiguan now makes more sense on our shores with the addition of ADAS features and other comforting features like adaptive 'IQ.LIGHT' LED headlamps and wireless charging.
